Pay: $70-$73 per hour

Unit Requirements:

All clinicians (RNs/TECHs) are required to take On Call. 
About 16-18 days on-call per 6 weeks scheduling.

Job Responsibilities

  •  Assist with procedures and provide diagnostic support by conducting organ or body scans. 
  •  Prepare and position patients; accurately select anatomic and technical parameters. 
  •  Prepare and administer contrast media and medications within scope of practice and applicable regulations. 
  •  Monitor patients during procedures and report any abnormal findings. 
  •  Follow radiation safety procedures and established guidelines. 
  •  Review imaging protocols and recommend updates or improvements as needed. 
  •  Perform specialized imaging procedures, including: 
    •  Angiography (angio) 
    •  Complex vascular procedures 
    •  Non-vascular interventional and therapeutic procedures 
  •  Assist Radiologist/Physician Assistant during procedures. 
  •  Ensure compliance with all regulatory and safety standards. 
Licensure / Certification / Registration

  • BLS Provider certification from American Heart Association or American Red Cross required. 
  • Cardiographic Technician credential from Cardiovascular Credentialing International required prior to hire or transfer. 
  • Radiologic Technologist (Radiography) credential from American Registry of Radiologic Technologists required prior to hire or transfer (any specialty accepted). 
  • Radiologic Technologist License issued by Illinois Emergency Management Agency required in combination with ARRT certification. 
  • Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) from CCI preferred. 
Education & Experience

  •  High School diploma or equivalent with 1–2 years of relevant experience
  •  Associate’s degree / Technical degree
  •  Minimum 4 years of relevant, job-specific experience
