Job Title : Breast Ultrasound Technician
Location: Jacinto City , Houston, TX 77029
Pay rate: $50-$55 per hour
Job Type: Longterm (Mon- Fri) (40hrs)
Shift : Day Shift (8:00 AM – 5:00PM)
Precision Scans is a trusted healthcare staffing registry, connecting skilled imaging professionals with leading healthcare facilities. We are currently seeking an experienced Breast Ultrasound Technician to perform high-quality imaging services, focusing on breast ultrasound exams for both diagnostic and screening purposes.
Responsibilities
- Conduct breast ultrasound examinations for both screening and diagnostic purposes, ensuring high-quality imaging in accordance with ACR and facility protocols.
- Prepare and position patients for ultrasound procedures, ensuring their comfort and safety throughout the process.
- Collaborate with radiologists to provide accurate, clear, and complete imaging data for diagnosis.
- Document and maintain detailed patient records, including imaging results and any relevant clinical observations.
- Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment, ensuring it is functioning optimally and complies with safety standards.
- Educate patients on the procedure and address any questions or concerns with professionalism and empathy.
- Stay current with advancements in ultrasound technology and best practices.
Qualifications
- Certification: ARDMS/ARDMS(BR) certification Required.
- Experience: Minimum 1-5 years of experience performing breast ultrasound exams.
- Licensure: Valid state license as an Ultrasound Technician.
- Strong knowledge of breast anatomy, pathology, and diagnostic imaging techniques.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for patient interaction and teamwork.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to handle sensitive patient information with confidentiality.
