Duration: 13 weeks Prefer RN with circulating experience.

Experience: *Ortho (Total knees, hips, shoulders & ankles), 
Podiatry, Gyn & General/laparoscopic procedures- 
minimum 2 years' preferred. 
On-Call requirement: Yes - per unit needs. 
Take rotating call 1-2 days per week and 1 weekend per month. 
Covid patients: Yes 
Charting system: EPIC Scrubs: Any color 

 Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN) to join our surgical team. The OR RN will be responsible for providing care to patients before, during, and after surgical procedures. This includes preparing the operating room, assisting surgeons during surgery, and ensuring a safe, sterile environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare operating rooms and ensure all necessary equipment and supplies are sterile and ready.
  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care before, during, and after surgical procedures.
  • Assist the surgical team during operations, including handing instruments and maintaining a sterile field.
  • Monitor patients' vital signs and respond to any changes or complications.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care and surgical procedures.
  • Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, surgical techs, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Adhere to all hospital policies, procedures, and infection control standards.

Qualifications:

  • Active and unrestricted RN license in the state of [State Name].
  • Minimum of 1-2 years recent experience in an operating room setting.
  • Current BLS and ACLS certifications (Required).
  • CNOR certification 
  • Strong knowledge of surgical procedures, instruments, and sterile techniques.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and critical-thinking skills.
