Job Summary:
The X-Ray Technologist is responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures using radiographic equipment to assist physicians in diagnosing and treating patients. The technologist ensures patient safety, comfort, and high-quality imaging while adhering to all regulatory and facility standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform high-quality diagnostic X-ray procedures as ordered by physicians
- Position patients correctly to obtain optimal imaging results
- Operate and maintain radiologic equipment safely and efficiently
- Ensure compliance with radiation safety standards and protocols
- Verify patient identity and review physician orders prior to procedures
- Maintain accurate patient records and imaging documentation
- Assist radiologists and physicians during procedures as needed
- Monitor patients for any adverse reactions during exams
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of imaging rooms and equipment
- Follow all HIPAA, infection control, and facility policies
Requirements:
- Minimum 1 to 2 Years of experience
- Candidates must have ARRT(R) certification, State Fluoroscopy Permit, and CRT
- State Venipuncture permit
- BLS certification issued by AHA

Compensation: $50.00 - $55.00 per hour
