Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Travel Mammography Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Las Vegas. The ideal candidate will be confident, patient-focused, and experienced in performing high-quality screening and diagnostic mammography procedures in a fast-paced imaging department.
Requirements:
- Minimum 1 year of recent Mammography Tech experience required
- ARRT (R) and ARRT (M) certifications required
- Nevada state license required (or ability to obtain prior to start)
- BLS certification required
- Experience with 3D mammography/tomosynthesis preferred
- Strong patient care and positioning skills
- Excellent communication and documentation skills
Responsibilities:
- Perform screening and diagnostic mammograms
- Ensure proper positioning and image quality
- Educate and support patients throughout procedures
- Follow radiation safety and infection control protocols
- Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare team
