Position: Ultra Sound Tech (per diem) Nights

Pay: $70-$73 per hour
Position Summary:
Preference given to candidates available for a full schedule through the end of January and the first week of February.
Night shift, 12-hour shifts. Start date: 1/17.
Minimum compliance requirements must be met prior to starting;
full compliance profile must be completed within two weeks after the start date.
Position is Per Diem for 26 weeks.
Required Compliance Items:
Proof of MMR and Varicella vaccination or attestation of vaccination/declination
The Ultrasound Technologist is responsible for performing high-quality diagnostic ultrasound examinations, including Obstetrics (OB), Abdominal, and Vascular studies. The technologist ensures accurate image acquisition, patient safety, and exceptional patient care while adhering to professional and facility standards.

The Ultrasound Technologist is responsible for performing high-quality diagnostic ultrasound examinations, including Obstetrics (OB), Abdominal, and Vascular studies. The technologist ensures accurate image acquisition, patient safety, and exceptional patient care while adhering to professional and facility standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform high-quality OB/GYN, abdominal, and vascular ultrasound exams according to physician protocols.
- Operate ultrasound equipment efficiently to acquire optimal diagnostic images.
- Review patient history and clinical information to tailor examinations appropriately.
- Assist physicians during specialized or invasive ultrasound procedures as required.
- Ensure accurate measurements, documentation, and annotations within the imaging system.
- Evaluate images for technical quality before submitting to radiologists for interpretation.
Qualifications:
Education & Certifications
- Graduate of an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography program.
- ARDMS or ARRT(S) certification in at least OB/GYN, Abdomen (AB), and/or Vascular (RVT) required or eligible.
- Current BLS certification (AHA preferred).
Experience
- Minimum 1–2 years of experience preferred in OB, abdominal, and vascular ultrasound.
