Pay: $40 to $45 per hour depending on experience.
Position Summary
The RN in the Crisis Stabilization Unit provides immediate, short-term nursing care to patients experiencing acute psychiatric crises. This role involves rapid assessment, crisis intervention, medication administration, and continuous monitoring to ensure safety and stabilization. The RN collaborates with an interdisciplinary team to deliver trauma-informed, patient-centered care in a fast-paced environment.
Education & Licensure
- Current and unrestricted RN license (State-specific).
- BLS, ACLS (required or preferred depending on facility).
- CPI, MAB, or equivalent crisis intervention certification (required or must obtain within 30 days).
Experience
24 hour stay. 2 years' experience in psyche preferred.

- 2 year experience in psychiatric/mental health nursing, emergency department, crisis unit, or acute care.
- Experience with de-escalation and managing acute psychiatric crises preferred.
