Shift Schedule:19:00 - 07:30
                             7.00-19.30

Bill Rate: $30-$35 per hour

CERTIFIED nursing assistant Per diem 

Job Summary:

The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) provides direct patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse or Licensed Vocational Nurse. The CNA assists patients with activities of daily living, supports patient comfort and safety, and contributes to maintaining a clean and organized care environment during the Day/night shift.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide basic patient care, including bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and feeding.
  • Assist patients with mobility, turning, repositioning, and ambulation as directed.
  • Measure and record vital signs, intake/output, weight, and other patient data accurately.
  • Respond promptly to patient call lights and ensure patient needs are met in a timely manner.
  • Maintain patient safety by following fall prevention and infection control procedures.
  • Assist nurses with specimen collection, transport, and routine clinical tasks.
  • Keep patient rooms, equipment, and nursing areas clean and organized.
  • Document all patient care activities accurately in the medical record.
  • Report any changes in patient condition or behavior to the RN/LVN immediately.
  • Support team members to ensure continuity and quality of care throughout the night shift.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in the state of [Insert State].
  • Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification through the American Heart Association.
  • 1 yr CNA experience in an acute care, long-term care, or skilled nursing facility preferred.
  • Excellent communication, teamwork, and time management skills.
  • Ability to work flexible hours and adapt to varying patient care needs.
