Pay: 50$ to 55$ depending on experience.
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Clinical Laboratory Scientist (CLS) to join our team at our Upland facility. The CLS will perform a variety of complex laboratory tests to assist physicians in diagnosing, treating, and preventing disease. This role requires accuracy, strong technical skills, and adherence to established laboratory policies and procedures.
Responsibilities:
- Perform and interpret laboratory tests in hematology, chemistry, microbiology, immunology, and other areas as assigned.
- Ensure accuracy and validity of test results by following quality control procedures.
- Operate, calibrate, and maintain laboratory instruments and equipment.
- Prepare specimens, reagents, and solutions for analysis.
- Document and report test results promptly and accurately in the LIS (Laboratory Information System).
- Adhere to CLIA, CAP, OSHA, and state regulatory guidelines.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare providers regarding test results.
- Maintain laboratory safety and infection control standards.
- Train and guide laboratory assistants, technicians, or students when necessary.
Qualifications:
HOSPITAL GENERALIST. EVERY OTHER WEEKEND

- Valid California Clinical Laboratory Scientist (CLS) license required.
- Bachelor’s degree in Medical Technology, Clinical Laboratory Science, or related field.
- Previous clinical laboratory experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of laboratory equipment, testing procedures, and regulatory compliance.
- Excellent attention to detail, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Compensation: $50.00 - $55.00 per hour
