Morning shift.
Position Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Mammography Technologist to join our imaging team in Corona, CA. The technologist will perform high-quality mammographic imaging procedures in accordance with MQSA, ACR, ARRT, and state regulations, ensuring patient safety, comfort, and confidentiality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform screening and diagnostic mammography exams as ordered by physicians.
- Ensure compliance with MQSA, ACR, ARRT, and California state requirements.
- Properly position patients and operate mammography equipment to obtain optimal images.
- Maintain accurate patient records, documentation, and image quality standards.
- Educate patients about the procedure, answering questions and ensuring comfort.
- Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare providers to support diagnostic accuracy.
- Monitor equipment performance, report malfunctions, and assist with quality control testing.
- Follow radiation safety and infection control protocols at all times.
Qualifications:
- ARRT (R) certification required.
- ARRT (M) Mammography certification preferred
- California CRT and Fluoroscopy permit (if required by facility).
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification through AHA.
- Minimum of 1-2 year of mammography experience preferred
- Strong interpersonal skills with ability to provide compassionate patient care.
Compensation: $68.00 - $73.00 per hour
