Position: CT Tech -Per Diem/Day/Inglewood
Shift Schedule: 07:00 - 07:00
Location: Inglewood, CA, 90301
Start date; 08/04/2025 - 02/01/2026
Pay: $55 -$60 PER HOUR
Job Summary:
Need CT PER DIEM for evening, days, or nights, 8 hours shifts, 630am-3pm, 3pm-1130pm and 7pm to 330am.
MUST HAVE HAVE CT LICENSE UP TO DATE & RELEVANT EXPERIENCE. ROTATING.
The CT Technologist works collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team and is responsible for providing quality images.
The CT Technologist works in support of the Radiologist, providing assistance in the performance of diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
Responsible for processing and transmission of images to PACS.
Qualifications Education and Work Experience
One year of acute, clinical radiology experience is preferred.
Knowledge of mobile and stationary Radiographic / Fluoroscopic equipment is required.
Extensive knowledge of anatomy and medical terminology is required.
Graduate of a program accredited by JRCERT.
Radiology license and fluoroscopy permit as required by State Effective 07/01/2015, CT ARRT Certification is required.
Must maintain BCLS (AHA) upon hire.
Proficient computer skills.
Qualifications:
• Education: Associate's or Bachelor’s degree in Radiologic Technology or related field.
• Certification: ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification in
Radiography (ARRT-R) and Computed Tomography (ARRT-CT).
• Licensure: Valid state license for Radiologic Technology (if required by state).
• BLS/CPR Certification: Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Experience: Minimum 2-3 years of experience as a CT Tech is preferred.
Skills and Abilities:
• Proficiency in operating CT scanners and associated software.
• Knowledge of anatomy, radiographic positioning, and the principles of radiation physics.
• Strong patient communication and care skills, with an emphasis on patient safety and
comfort.
• Attention to detail with the ability to follow strict protocols and procedures.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Problem-solving skills and the ability to handle stressful situations calmly.
Work Environment:
• Work is performed in a hospital or imaging center environment.
• Requires standing for long periods, moving patients, and handling medical equipment.
• Potential exposure to radiation, infectious diseases, and bloodborne pathogens.
