JOB DESCRIPTION

otating weekends and holidays requirements.
Busy cath lab requires RN with experience Cath lab call required-14 days of call in 6 week period
Procedures to include angioplasty, TAVR-Watchman's, peripheral vascular EP, carotid
EPIC experience and MERGE experience,
hours may extend given case loads we require cath lab nurses that do structural hearts.
Cath lab in Northwest side hospital, conveniently located near L= and expressways
Free parking Call required 14 days in a 6 week period Procedures to include angioplasty,
TAVR-Watchman's, peripheral vascular EP, carotid EPIC experience and MERGE experience ,
4 days a week hours may extend given case loads

1. Bachelor Degree in Nursing (BSN); preferred. 
2. Active state Registered Nursing (RN) License; required. 
3. Current BCLS (AHA), ACLS certificate upon hire and maintain current; required. 
4. One (1) year clinical experience in a Cardiovascular Lab doing cardiac work or in a Critical Care area; required. 

  • Provides direct patient care to adult and geriatric patient populations. 
  • Addresses the psychosocial, physical and general aspects of care related to the surgical environment. 
  • Communicates with physician continuously and as needed about patient condition. 
  • Assists with the maintenance of equipment and inventory. 
  • Assesses procedure room or equipment functioning and readiness. 
  • Obtains supplies for individual cases and ensures all appropriate needs of the Cardiovascular Laboratory team are met.
  •  Monitors physiologic and hemodynamic data, as related to diagnostic and/or therapeutic procedures performed in the cardiovascular lab. Monitors and records patients condition continuously while in the Cardiovascular lab. Participates in performance improvement and continuous quality improvement activities.


EDUCATION AND TRAINING:

1. Graduate of a state-approved and accredited School of Registered Nursing.

2. Currently licensed in the State of Practice.

3. One-year recent acute hospital experience.

4. BCLS Certification is required.

5. ACLS and any other certificates that shows proof of any or advanced courses obtained.
Compensation: $1,425.00 per week
