Certified Home Health Aide - Everett WA and Surrounding Areas

- Shift: 8hr Days (*This facility cannot accommodate 4x10s or 3x12s.*)
- Ratios: (*May visit up to 6 patients per day; 30 productivity points standard) , traveler will visit 5-6 patients daily

- RTO Restrictions: Confirm with hiring manager
- Guaranteed Hours: Facility can call off UP TO one shift per pay period (every two weeks)

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS
- Traveler is expected to have their own transportation
- System does a good job grouping clients minimizing drive and windshield time. Occasional maximum radius of 50+ miles.
- **Traveler MUST have HHA Certification and CNA License**

Job Summary
We are looking for a Certified Home Health/Hospice Aide to join our team! You will directly work with patients, following a one-on-one care plan in patient homes. You operate with a big heart, not only providing personalized and attentive care but by building genuine relationships with those you serve. You are detail-oriented, highly organized, and committed to creating a healthy environment that meets patient needs. Strong verbal and written communication skills are needed to succeed in this role. Prior Home Health or Hospice experience is a plus. 

Responsibilities 
  • Assist patients with daily activities such as moving in and out of beds, baths, wheelchairs, or automobiles
  • Care for patients by changing bed linens, doing laundry, cleaning the home, or assisting with personal care
  • Maintain records of patient care, condition, progress, or problems to report and discuss observations with the supervisor 
  • Build relationships with patients by conversing or reading aloud to help keep them mentally healthy and alert 
  • Give medications and immunizations 
  • Engage patients in exercises or other activities  
Qualifications
  • Graduated from an accredited Home Health Aide program
  • High School Diploma or GED 
  • One year prior professional experience 
  • Driver’s license required 
  • CPR certification required 
Compensation: $840.00 per week
